Dragon Wings - Warbird (12th FS, 18 TFW The Dirty Dozen (Kadena AB, Japan)

The 12th Fighter Squadron, affectionately known as the “Dirty Dozen,” traces their lineage and honors back to January 15th 1941. It was on this date they were first activated at Selfridge Field, Michigan. After seeing action in WWII and Korea the 12th FS found themselves stationed at Kadena Air Force Base in Japan.

The mission of the 12th FS is to mobilize, deploy, and employ 24 F-15C Eagle fighter aircraft worldwide to achieve air superiority in support of CJCS, PACOM, CENTCOM, EUCOM, SOUTHCOM, and NORAD operations
